How much would it cost to have an engineered wood floor installed?

engineered floor Add comments

The area is approx 25sq m and would be labour only, midlands UK?
Cheers.

I’ve had real wood flooring installed this year, 1 room just about the exact size you mentioned. It was just over £11 per mtr to get done. I know it was the same price for engineered wood. Remember also that you have beading/edging and the type of doors bar (as in wood to wood, wood to carpet or whatever) to get. This was going on top of a wood floor which was fine but I believe it can all depend on the surface it is going on top of too. Unless you are absolutely fantastic at DIY PLEASE don’t listen to anyone telling you to tackle it yourself, ensure it is not even just a joiner but someone who is experienced laying floors. I am not a know all but even friends have commented on mine as I have been to other houses where it has been laid by handy men and I just couldn’t live with some of the gaps etc that were left they seem to think okay. It is not cheap to buy so ensure nobody makes a mess of it in attempting to fit it.
